For the past few years, Pavertime has been an Authorized Belgard Contractor. This designation ensured that we consistently learned new techniques and better construction methods while creating solid hardscapes that stand the test of time. However, we are proud to announce that we have recently reached Belgard’s highest level of certification, Belgard Master Craftsman.
What does it mean to be a Belgard Master Craftsman?
To become a Belgard Master Craftsman, you must first become a Belgard Authorized Contractor. In order to be designated as an authorized contractor, you must have five years of installation experience, won 1 national or two local awards, completed an International Concrete Paver Institute (ICPI) course, and be authorized in two specifications, such as paver retaining walls.
Once you have become an Authorized Contractor, then you must complete more work to be considered for Master Craftsman, including:
- Installation and maintenance of a set number of projects within a 12-month period.
- Provide a 5-year workmanship guarantee
- Attend three educational events approved by Belgard
- Be an authorized contractor for three years
- Maintain a commitment to 100% service satisfaction
- And set yearly requirements for installation and performance.
Belgard Master Craftsman certification takes years to achieve and involves dedication to customer service, education, and the betterment of the hardscape field. During this time, Belgard also reviewed several of our ongoing and completed projects in person to ensure they met their qualifications.
